Terms of service

The terms governing access to and use of Clopal services.

Effective and last updated August 23, 2026

Agreement and eligibility

These terms govern the Clopal website, applications, meeting assistant, AI guidance, storage, and integrations. You must be legally able and authorized by your organization to accept them. If a signed order, data-processing agreement, or enterprise agreement conflicts with these terms, that agreement controls for its subject matter.

Accounts and connected services

You are responsible for accurate account information, authorized users, credential security, workspace roles, language and recording settings, and activity performed through your account. Google, meeting platforms, CRM systems, email-routing services, and storage providers remain third-party services governed by their own terms. Google Workspace access is optional, user-authorized, and limited to the scopes shown during consent. A Clopal meeting alias may be shared only for authorized business meetings; rotate it if it is exposed or misused. You may disconnect integrations at any time and may grant Clopal only permissions you are authorized to grant.

Recording and consent

You are responsible for providing notices and obtaining all permissions required to record, transcribe, analyze, or store a conversation. Do not use Clopal where doing so would violate law, policy, contractual duty, or another person’s rights.

AI and human approval

Transcripts, retrieval results, guidance, summaries, scores, analyses, and drafts can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate and are not legal, financial, employment, or other professional advice. Users must verify important facts and remain responsible for decisions. A calendar connection or email invitation does not by itself authorize Clopal to join a meeting. The user must review the event and schedule the assistant. Clopal also sends a Gmail message or creates a calendar event only after the authorized user reviews and approves the action in the product.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use Clopal unlawfully, deceptively, for covert or prohibited surveillance, or to violate privacy, employment, anti-discrimination, intellectual-property, export-control, or communications laws.
  • Do not bypass usage or access controls, access another tenant, interfere with service operation, upload malware, reverse engineer protected components where prohibited, or test security without written authorization.
  • Do not submit data you lack permission to use, impersonate another person, or present AI output as verified fact when it has not been reviewed.
  • Customer data and license

You and your organization retain rights in data submitted to Clopal. You grant Clopal and its service providers a limited, non-exclusive right to host, transmit, transform, and otherwise process that data only to provide, secure, support, and administer the service as described in the Privacy policy and applicable agreement. You represent that you have the required rights and notices.

    Intellectual property and feedback

Clopal and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, branding, documentation, and underlying technology. Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, you may use output for your authorized business purposes. If you provide product feedback, Clopal may use it without restriction or identifying you publicly.

    Plans, suspension, and termination

Features, limits, retention, fees, and service commitments are governed by the applicable order or plan. We may suspend access to protect the service, comply with law, address non-payment, or stop material misuse. On termination, data is handled under the applicable retention terms.

    Availability, changes, and beta features

Features may change as the service develops. Meeting, transcription, model, email, calendar, and network providers can affect availability and latency. Preview or beta features may be changed or withdrawn and should not be used where failure would cause material harm unless separately agreed.

    Disclaimers and liability

Except for commitments in a signed agreement and to the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Clopal disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for decisions made solely from AI output, failures of third-party services, or use contrary to these terms. Any liability limitations in an applicable order or enterprise agreement control; rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

    Contact and changes

Questions, legal notices, or account requests may be submitted through the public contact page. We may update these terms as the product or law changes. The revised effective date will appear above, and additional notice will be provided when required.
