Cookie policy

The browser storage Clopal uses and the choices available to visitors.

Effective and last updated August 23, 2026

What we currently use

The public site stores a clopal_cookie_consent choice in local storage and, as a fallback, a first-party cookie for up to one year. The cookie uses SameSite=Lax and Secure on HTTPS. It remembers whether the visitor selected essential-only or accepted optional categories.

The application uses session storage and local storage for authentication continuity, selected workspace and call state, language and interface preferences, onboarding state, meeting preparation, and desktop or pop-out coordination. It also uses a first-party, Secure, SameSite=Strict browser-session cookie to recover a short-lived sign-in token if tab storage is lost. OAuth uses short-lived, single-use server-side state records to prevent request forgery. These technologies are first-party and support requested product functions.

Optional analytics and advertising

Clopal does not currently load third-party advertising cookies or behavioral-advertising trackers on the public site. The “Accept all” preference does not by itself activate an analytics provider. If optional analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, we will identify them here and provide any consent control required before activation.

Duration and controls

Session storage normally lasts until the browser tab or session is closed. The sign-in continuity cookie lasts for the browser session and is cleared on sign-out. Local storage remains until Clopal removes it, a workflow clears it, or the user clears browser data. Authentication tokens expire server-side and may be revoked independently of browser storage.

You can clear or block cookies and site data in browser settings. Blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in, call preparation, workspace switching, and protected product workflows from functioning correctly. You can revisit the choice by clearing the clopal_cookie_consent cookie and local-storage entry.
